Electrical substations of the 500kV North - South transmission line circuit No1, No2: Hoa Binh, Nho Quan, Ha Tinh, Thuong Tin.
The circuit No1 - 500kV North-South transmission line, is the first 500kV super high-voltage power transmission line (AC) project in Vietnam with a total length of 1,487 km, begin from Hoa Binh to Ho Chi Minh City. The target of this construction project is distribution the excess electricity from the North of Vietnam (from Hoa Binh and Thac Ba hydroelectric plants; Pha Lai, Uong Bi, Ninh Binh thermal power plants) to supply the South and Central of Vietnam where were facing serious electricity shortages, and connect the local power systems of the three regions into a unity at the same time.
